Southern California Baseball

As winter turns to spring, Southern California baseball fans flock to Arizona to see the Dodgers prepare for the 2016 season. Many people feel that the baseball season starts on Thursday when the Dodgers take on the White Sox at Camelback Ranch.

However there has been some great baseball being played locally for the last few weeks at the college level as USC, UCLA, Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton, and many other teams have already started their season.

USC and UCLA are ranked in the top 25 and will meet for the Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic on March 6th.

Long Beach State has started 5-2 with a big win over UCLA. Cal State Fullerton swept Big 10 power Indiana last week.

Taking a trip to see the Dodgers for spring training is fun. But if you want to see quality local baseball, you can save money by checking out a local college game.
