John Mauldin, Tyler Laporte, and Cody Ducote are having big summers for the Palm Springs Power.
Mauldin out of Baton Rougue Community College has been the offensive leader for the team batting .350 with 2 homeruns and 14 stolen bases.
Laporte is also from Batton Rougue Community College and has been a key player off the bench with 5 RBIs in 23 at bats.
Ducote out of LSU was leading the team with a .373 average before heading back to Louisiana.
The Louisiana connection will have to continue their strong play for the rest of the summer as the Power try to win their sixth straight SCCBL championship.
