Epic Comeback by the Palm Springs Power

Late in their SCCBL semifinal game, the Palm Springs Power trailed the Arroyo Second Sentinels 5-0.

Media SquareIn the sixth and seventh, the offense rallied for six runs to pull ahead before a Sentinel home run tied the game at six.

In the top of the ninth, the Sentinels had a runner on third with one out. Brian Menendez pitched out of the jam keeping the game tied going into the bottom of the ninth.

With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, the Power rallied and won 7-6 to advance to the SCCBL Championship Series against the San Diego Force.

Two Historic Victories this week for the Palm Springs Power

Casey Starke Jersey History has been made this week at Palm Springs Stadium. Palm Springs Power Manager Casey Dill has reached the 400 win plateau on Wednesday and the franchise won their 500th game since their inception in 2004 on Friday.
