Palm Springs Power Sweep So Cal Catch

The Palm Springs Power completed a three game sweep of the So Cal Catch Sunday Night.

The Power won 9-6 behind a strong start from Jacob Rebar.

CJ Broussard, John Mauldin, Travis Tanaka, and Taylor Grace all had hits.

SCCBL Playoff Start Next Week

After sweeping a four game series against the Inland Valley Bucs, The Palm Springs Power will start the SCCBL playoffs as the top seed.

Palm Springs will start their quest for a sixth straight SCCBL title with a semifinal road game against fourth seeded Arroyo Seco Sentinels.

Game two will be in Palm Springs on July 19 with game three the following day if necessary.

In the other semifinal, the San Diego Force and So Cal Bombers will battle for the chance to go to the three game finals on July 22 through 24th.

The Bombers are coming into the playoffs on a seven game losing streak and have lost nine of their last ten. San Diego is currently on a three game winning streak.
